Form 8990 in the fiduciary system

Debbie56

I have confirmed that the fiduciary system does not support form 8990 , limitation on Business interest expense under Section 163(j).  How can that be?  I have a number of trusts that invest in partnership that have this issue.  The input for partnerships in the fiduciary system has not even been updated for line 13K  being business interest expense limitation instead of the old portfolio deduction.  Very disappointing - not in keeping with what I consider a quality product.

Hi Debbie56, Form 8990 is currently not supported for Fiduciary products. You mentioned "The input for partnerships in the fiduciary system has not even been updated for line 13K  being business interest expense limitation instead of the old portfolio deduction.". Are you referring to the Partnership Sch K-1 input worksheet in Federal fiduciary product? If you are, I do see line 13 code K is updated to Excess business interest expense. Did you download the latest version of Federal fiduciary product?
