Foreign Pension

There are no FEP (Foreign Employer Pension) form in the present ProSeries software.

I highly recommend that ProSeries incorporate this form so that foreign pension can flow to the proper 1040 Line (5a & 5b).

The only way to enter foreign pension in ProSeries is to enter it as "Other Income".

This is NOT Other Income and the software should be updated to allow for the proper reporting of this Foreign Pension Income. ProSeries only allows for a 1099-R to report pension income. However, clients with Foreign pension or compensation will NOT have a Form 1099-R.

Thanks for the idea to add FEP form to flow to 1040 line 5a & 5b. We are changing the status to "Open for voting" since it has been around for over 30 days and no longer considered "New".
