Submitted by DK50 on 11-14-2020 09:41 PMA paper 1099-B has to be scanned after completion of the return. We use various reminders to attach the 1099-B to the return before e-filing to preclude e-filing before attaching the 1099-B when using consolidated reporting, but we sometimes miss attaching the 1099-B before e-filing.
It would be great to have a check box field within the Schedule D to require 1099-B pdf attachment that would generate an error on F5 Final Review and when attempting to e-file.
