I somehow thought that the Employer/Payer Database was updated and using the autofill feature anytime I added a new EIN to any form. And then I started noticing that some obvious big companies didn't autofill on certain forms. then, as I speak with tech support, I realized that the database only works on W2 or 1099s.
Today - I had three 1099-C forms from CHASE Bank. This should be in my database. I input the first, no autofill, so I entered the second, no autofill, and the same for the third. I thought the database was broken. But then on W2's and 1099-R's it works. So now I guess that it is limited in its usage throughout ProSeries program.
So I ask....WHY NOT EVERYWHERE in the program?
