Bulk Sale of Multiple Assets

Please allow some way of reflecting the disposition or sale of multiple assets in one entry in ProSeries instead of entering the disposition of assets for every single asset. 

This would be helpful for businesses that are closing down or those that are selling their business to another.

Yes, this is absolutely necessary. The program should treat all assets associated with an activity (i.e. a rental property as part of a 1040) as a group of assets that can be disposed of all at once. Most other professional tax programs allow for mass dispositions of assets. It is really bad that ProSeries doesn't have this.  Furthermore, it should automatically calculate the Form 4797.

I find that the more detail on the return the less likely you will have a problem with audits....if IRS questions anything, the answers are already there to remind you.

Totally agree!!!  I Lacert has this capability, which not borrow, beg, steal to implement uniformly throughout the "Intuit Family".  I have been a Proseries customer for more than 25 years and I will retire with this desire.  I just seem so easy and doable.
