AL '22 (Individual) Form 8453 (E-file Auth) does not populate preparer's PTIN and Paid Preparer's Check Box. Please fix

In ProSeries it has been standard for years the ERO's "Preparers PTIN and Paid Preparer" box does not populate when the Paid Preparer and ERO are the same.  This does need to be fixed I agree.  I can tell you that as ERO I sign as such and manually check the "Also Paid Preparer" box.  This form does not require mailing and after twenty years with ProSeries this has never caused a problem.  The issue has been here that long!  I can't give you any reason why it works this way but it is not worth the time and energy to contact Intuit over this.  Be thankfull the Alabama program is up and running prior to mid to late February as has happened sever times over the past five years.
