    If you mean that your operating system needs to be updated from Windows 7, then the answer is yes.

    You want a 64 bit operating system (ideally Win 10, but I'm thinking that 64bit Win 8 might still be sufficient), whether your current computer can accommodate that or not, nobody here can tell you.
