On all Pc's through several years of Proseries this action does not seem to work or be responsive.
It should go without saying why this is interruptive and time consuming but since it is not addressed maybe it should be explained.
When a name or a social is given and an accidental selection is made and replaced an undo feature would save an individual from having to re-key the information and in many cases would avoid them having to look for the information that was replaced.
Practical Solution: Make sure that simple function works on the software.
Current Solution: Close the return completely, do not save and hope that you saved before the error so you don't lose too much.

ProSeries has never had an "undo" function. It has been brought up in the past and it probably is still in the list that tilt just referenced. However I don't think they are going to pay much attention to that request since they are trying to fix all of the bugs so that we can dodo since right now we are wading through doo-doo.
I'm not understanding the issue...you type over something with an incorrect figure and you want the program to remember what the figure was before you typed over it?
Ctr-Z has never worked in PS and I sincerely doubt it ever will. Feel free to make a suggestion. It only took over 5 years and the death of a contributor to finally get the "locking" function.
