Ok since ProSeries has changed the UCE in the tax return how would you go about amending the return since it has already changed the figures over ride??

You don't amend.  You are supposed to wait for the IRS to process the change and send a refund check.

Of course, it may need to be amended for other reasons, like the 1099 received when they thought they were working under the table while collecting unemployment.

add it back on the same line, then activate the 1040X, then remove your add back   ta-da!
