I am trying to confirm if MA recognizes trader tax status. On the Federal Tax return, trades are reported on form 4797, part II, gains are taxed at ordinary rates and losses are deductible fully against ordinary income.
Does MA recognize Trader Tax status? or is there an alternative reporting method?
