TP sold an investment property for a loss. I entered the information on the 4797. But it is not showing up on Schedule D. What am I missing?

Why did you enter it on the 4797 if it belongs on Schedule D?

As @BobKamman said you don't enter investment sales on form 4797. You would use 1099B worksheet for an investment.

It should be noted that @chapguy19 tends to ask multiple times for the same issue, resulting the volunteer peer users spread across multiple topics, each having part of the story and part of the replies.

Here is the more comprehensive topic on what seems to be this same property:

Please don't keep starting the same issue as new topics. It's the same audience, every time you post. Thanks.
