TIN mismatch for a general partnership

General partnership in California, main partner got married and changed her last name, does she have to update this with IRS?

Merchant services is telling her that they're getting a TIN mismatch, the EIN letter shows

Business Name

Her Name, Gen Ptr

The EIN letter (6 years old) has her old last name on it. Does that count in the cross matching?

In a partnership, aren't they just cross matching the partnership name with the EIN?
