99% sure this is a scam, but just wondering if anyone else has received this email, supposedly from ProSeries:

Dear Tax Preparer,

As part of our routine compliance review, your ProSeries account has been selected for mandatory verification. To ensure uninterrupted access to your account, please provide the requested documents listed below.

Failure to submit these documents may result in temporary account suspension.

Required Documents:

1. A clear, color copy or image of the EFIN holder's state-issued ID or Driver's License.
2. A copy or screenshot of the 'EFIN Application Summary' from the IRS e-Services website.
3. Your PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).

Instructions to Locate Your EFIN Application Summary:

1. Visit the IRS website
2. In the top right corner, click on the "Tax Pros" button.
3. Select "Access e-Services" and scroll down to click on "E-file Provider Services."
4. Click "Access E-File Application" and log in using your credentials.
5. Choose "Individual" and click "Submit Organization."
6. Locate your application (under your name or business name) and click the "eye" icon on the far right to view it.
7. Ensure you are on the "Application Summary" tab and save the page as a PDF.

I haven't see it - yet, but I'm guessing some Drake and Ultra Tax users got the same e-mail.  When you start fishing, you throw out a lot of lines.  As a side note, look at all of the e-mails you have received in the past from ProSeries.  Do any of them show "proseries" in the e-mail address or do they all show "intuit"?

Yes, the email address was only one of multiple red flags. 

Anyway, figured I would flag this for others who may receive the same message.

Its a scam, Ive seen it posted in other tax pro groups.

Hello!  We do ask to resubmit EFIN information from time to time but you would not be able to efile.
