Morning - parents with a 2 children in college. Both children are full time students and under 24 and live at home. One of the children made $8,400 as a wage earner. Does he qualify as a dependent?

I looked at publication 17 and it looks like he doesn't but would like to confirm.

Thanks.

Full time students age 19-23 do not have the income limitation to be a dependent.

As long as they dont pay for more than 50% of their own support, they can still be claimed as a dependent.
