Sharing allocations on 1095-A

Father files joint, claims daughter as dependent, Daughter files her own return without exemption.

1095-A is for all 3 persons.

I filled  1095-A on father's return. Allocated 0.33 % on all 3 for daughter.

How do I fill in 1095-A on daughter

Help really appreciated

There is no Federal penalty for no insurance.

If the state imposes a penalty, she DOES have insurance.  I'm not sure how to indicate that on the state, but if she DOES have insurance there should not be a penalty.

Daughter is a dependent.  There is no allocation and it is not entered on the daughter's tax return.

It sounds like you need to amend the father's tax return to remove the allocation.

Thanks for your prompt response.

Have not filed either return.

If I do not show 1095-A on daughter's return she will have penalty for no insurance.

Thanks again

CA has a penalty for no health insurance, but it doesnt apply to those that are a dependent of someone else.
