Hi ladies and gentlemen, how can I eliminate the S election effective date error, this is the first time this company is filing S Corp. taxes. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try checking the short year box on the info worksheet and be sure that the start date is on or after the s-election date.
