Roth contribution not feeding 8880. AGI for MFJ is $47222. Form asking for Trad only???

The IRA worksheet accepts the Roth contribution as allowable, but it is not feeding the 8880 form.  The AGI is well within the limits. When accessing the Help feature, the contributions appear, but indications from the help screen say not eligible.   The AGI is made up of W2 income and a loss on Schedule E (S-Corp).  AGI is $47,222 for MFJ.  There is nothing on the 8880 form.

Have you gone through the error-check, and made sure the "not a student" box is checked?

Also, check for any previous year retirement withdrawals on the 8880 worksheet.

That's it.  The spouse received Lifetime Learning credit for some graduate work.
