Hi,
As per Rev. Proc. 2020-28 a person who wants to file a return for a claim for the EIP by filing a 2019 return is required to write on top of the 1040 “EIP2020”.
Is there any way to do this in ProSeries Professional?
Any help will be highly appreciated!

You'd need to paper file and write it in with a pen...but IRS isn't opening mail so the chance of it being processed before the end of summer is slim. There is no way to add text to the 1040 and Efile a zero return.
If they don't have a filing requirement, just have them use the IRS Non filer website.
I'm dealing with clients who are unable to utilize the IRS newly develop systems and they do not want to wait for months by filing paper returns.
I wonder if ProSeries is planning to implement this simple feature to their software.
then... go to the IRS website..while your clients are with you.. and do the NON-Filer update....to input their info....I don't think Intuit will be doing anything to solve a problem as minimal as this...
they need to use the NON FILER app, not the Get My Payment app.
Make sure they stay six feet away while throwing their little tantrum.
