Hi there,
Where do I enter Section 199A Dividends? Form 1065
Thanks,
Helen
Double click on the dividend input screen on the line in play. then open up the 2nd page
Do you mean I enter it manually on the 2nd page by saying Section 199A Dividends?
Not at all. just double click on the line where you entered the dividends.. a box pop ups. open the link.. line for 199 A is there
I know what you said applies to Form 1040. I'm doing the Form 1065 and need to find where to enter Section 199A Dividends.
oh.. let me see
well.. that is a new one to me.. rarely see divdends on a 1065.. i don't see an input for the 199A on a 1065
There is a REIT Dividends entry. Not sure if I can use that.
how much is the 199A? often the impact is zero or a few dollars on the outcome
Only 304.
Dont they go on the 199A summary, at the bottom? Theres a drop down menu in that first little box that takes you back to the entry point.
No ... stay on the same line on Sch B, double click, and it will take you to another page for that particular line on Sch B ( like maybe it's "NBT Bank" ) and once you double click, you will be @ another page that pops up that says "Dividend Income Worksheet" ==> you will enter the Section 199A Dividends in part A of the worksheet, line 3 ...
oh dear ==> I didn't realize you were asking for Form 1065, either ... sorry !
