    I also have a federal return that was efiled and received by the IRS awaiting for acceptance

    I efiled that return 3 weeks ago.

    I've been filing New Jersey returns for two months without any issues at all.  They are normally accepted within two days.  What forms are you waiting on?

    Go to the EF homebase.  Highlight the return.  Click E-File > electronic filing > update acknowledgments.
