Will this shutdown affect efiling income tax returns?

To what shutdown are you referring?
One of the "Backroom Boys" told me that he glimpsed a blurb from Pro Series that it was shutting down Oct 19, 2020 for "maintenance". I cannot find a definitive comment as to what that shut down entails, other than including "data conversion".
Therefore........the question.
Thanks.

And stop relying on the backroom boys.
ProSeries 2019 Data Conversion Will Close Oct 19
Intuit will be performing annual maintenance on the Data Conversion Service in preparation for Tax Year 2020 beginning Oct 19. During this time Tax Data Conversion will be unavailable. Oct 18 is the final date to submit tax data for conversion in ProSeries 2019. After this time, 2018 tax files will no longer be processed, and conversion services will resume when we begin accepting 2019 tax files with the release of 2020 ProSeries. Note: This information does not impact or relate to electronic filing.
...back room, like Robert Kraft?
There was a very specific, in-software, announcement about THAT. It has zero to do with efiling.
Data conversion has to do with taking a file from OTHER software, and converting it to PS (or Lacerte).
Exactly who are these "backroom boys" that aren't giving out specifics?
Didn't the Backroom Boys perform at the last Super Bowl?
@IRonMaN snarf! 🤣
