I use a Proseries Basic Edition.
I found an error as below.
- I changed the Federal number.
- After that, I printed the return and closed the program.
- After sign in again, I found the CA return number is changed.
- When I change the Federal number, I think the CA number automatically is not changed.
I had some cases like this.
What is wrong?

What number are you referencing?
I changed an expense on schedule C.
Immediately after that, I printed the client return and sent it to the client.
After I received the client signature form, I signed in a program for e-filing.
Before e-filing, I checked the CA refund and the number was changed.
So when I reviewed the CA return, the federal AGI number on Form 540 and the business income number CA 540 and Schedule C related number were not changed.
