Superseded federal partnership 1065, but state not an option. Amended state? How to in software

Good afternoon,

I just filed a partnership return, but now I have a correction.  Both the federal and state (Massachusetts) were efiled and accepted.  I read the instructions on how to prepare a federal superseded return, but the option is not available for the state.

I can just check off the "amended" box on the Massachusetts return, as that appears the only way to correct it.

That is your only option if you want to correct the return

It was my understanding that amended returns received before the due date are processed as superseded, if you feel its pertinent that the state say Superseded on it, you can always mail it in with SUPERSEDED written across the top.
