st.of illinois rejection on efile

Just wondering if anyone has come across this error.  Have a client who has several pensions us savings bond  taxable interest and social security income. Did the formselectronically, federal got accepted but the State of Illinois rejected stating social security and certain retirement plan income must be supported by transmitting the US 1040 with the electronic return. If necessary make the approriate change and resubmit the form electronically.

Called intuit and they walked me thru how to attach a pdf.  which took more time to do.

I have sent several tax forms this year for 2021 tax year  with social security income and pensionsand never had this problem has anyone had this problem??

Have you updated PS recently?

That was a known issue that was fixed. I had a rejection similar to yours but mine cleared when it was fixed.
