Has anyone managed to install PS24 on a server in a hosted environment? Seems like quite the coincidence that Intuit starts offering hosting services and suddenly it’s impossible to get the software to run in a hosted environment that isn’t their own. Anticompetitive business practices much Intuit?
Intuit support says they can’t help us because it’s an unsupported environment… but it’s exactly the same as what they offer for an additional fee. We’ve been using ProSeries for my entire 23 years in practice and my father was using it for many years before that, but this will be the last tax season if we have to sign up for Intuit hosting last-minute just to muddle through. We’ve heard good things about Drake. Maybe they don’t treat their customers like garbage.
Even with PS hosted, often the problem is with the host, not the software. Who is doing your hosting? Do you have a network version of PS? How much time have you spent talking with your 'host'?
