    how to report stock INVESTMENT on 1040. they are not on form 1099 b and they are not sold, neither have holding period or a sold date but they has cost baises and unrealized gains. so where do i report that? and do i need to report it if there was no sale

    Assuming you mean on a Form 1040, nothing is reported until there's a sale. "Unrealized" just shows the change in value.

    Iron Man, she is really a good dog. She will eat just about anything that I make or give her. And she never stops begging for food. Never. She goes crazy for that kraft American cheese too. I don't know why. I buy a whole box and it lasts about two weeks.
