Is anyone still using Quick Employer Forms that could offer advice? Proseries or Intuit doesn't have any support available for the product. After 2.5 useless hours on the phone with support nothing ever gets resolved. I am not receiving email notifications that forms are submitted or received (I've been trying to resolve this for over 2 years) and when I check the status, recent forms have been accepted but forms filed over a week ago are still in submitted status. I have no way of knowing if this is normal. I know I need to look for a better program but re-entering all data is a pain when time is so limited.
Whenever I call Intuit asking about Quick Employer Forms, it seems like nobody knows a thing about it.
Not exactly the way it should be but I believe:
1. If your email is in the "Email ID" field of the client (see "Business Details / Edit Business Contact Info") then the transmission and acceptance emails will be returned to you (your email address). Your email will also show up on the Form 1096 but not on the Forms 1099 that accompany it. [Got to be a known problem.]
2. Last year, I came to the conclusion that, after filing a number of 1099s prior to the date the IRS' efile opened back up in late January, those filings just sat in limbo at Intuit waiting to be processed. Hence, the acceptance notification emails were returned to me out of order from the filing notification emails. That is, the ones I filed after IRS' efile was first opened in late January, were returned faster than the ones I filed in mid-January and got acceptances on in early February.
That's all I got.
Why is my Bulk E-file button greyed out and I cannot submit the form? What kind of service did I buy for $349?
