I am getting this error "Proseries requires at least one federal product is installed in order to run.  Please install additional products from the Proseries CD."

However i do not have the Proseries CD.

Any suggestions?

So you cant open the program to get to the Update > Select and Download New Products screens?

You may need to log into your Intuit Online account and reinstall the software, be sure you choose something to install in the Window with all the product options.

go to windows start, go to ProSeries, click on updates. See if that helps
