Mailing Labels

I am trying to figure out how to generate client mailing labels for active clients only.  How do I identify the active clients quickly?

Active as in clients you filed 2024 returns for?

Open 2024 and got to All Clients, click the header at the top of the Status column, that should gather all EFiled returns into a group, tag all of them then File > Print > Print Client Labels.

FWIW, I only transfer clients in from the prior year when they come in this year, that way at the end of this season, only Active clients will be in Homebase, no dead wood.

How about, active as in clients who didn't die in 2024?  

That's really not a major problem for me, although my median client age is probably higher than yours.  What I want to do is print out labels just for the 30% or so I can't reach with email.  My solution is just to tell myself that labels are cheap, and throw out 70% of them.
