ITIN vs. SSN on W2?

Just to confirm, if the client has an ITIN but provides a W-2 that has a SSN, which obviously won't match the ITIN. When entering the W-2 in ProSeries, you should input the SSN on the W2 in Part VII, Employee Information, correct?
