3. IRS hiring more than 5,000 positions in Austin, Kansas City, Ogden
To help serve taxpayers during this challenging tax season, the IRS is hiring more than 5,000 positions in its service processing centers located in Austin, Texas; Kansas City, Missouri; and Ogden, Utah.
The agency is hosting both virtual and in-person hiring events.

I hear ProSeries will be hiring also. Somewhere around April 13th for programmers to get final tax forms completed.
No inside information --------------- it's just the mind reading classes being put to use 🤔
"These positions fall under a special hiring condition called direct-hire authority. New hires may expect to begin work within 30-45 days of their job offer."
This is the gov'ts fast track hiring process.
Oh and these jobs pay $25K or less.
