How to convert data from ATX to ProSeries "BASIC"

    IvanTorres

    Hello community,

I'm migrating from ATX to Pro-Series Basic. I research information how to convert data from one Tax software to Pro-Series and I found this link:

    https://proconnect.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/convert-files/data-conversion-wizard/L3uV5j...

However, I cannot find the Step 2: "...From the Import menu, select Client Data Conversion..." in Pro-Series BASIC.

Is this tool only available for Pro-Series Professional?

Indeed I am bouncing around out in community today.

You would want to go to Tools/Client Data Converstion and you should see the menu items for using the converter.

    Hope this helps

One small problem - that looks like it is for Lacerte.  Check out this page:

Hello IRonMaN, thank you so much for your answer.

I followed the steps in that page (https://proconnect.intuit.com/proseries/data-conversion/) but the issue is in my 2021 Pro-Series Basic. I cannot see the import Client Data Conversion in Import Menu. However, if I open the Pro-Series Professional. That tool is available, but I bought the Basic Package.

Thank you for your answer in advanced.

Sorry, I have never used Basic so I'm not familiar with it's presentation.  Maybe someone using Basic will step in and point you in the right direction.

Hello @Brian_Christian. I really appreciate your help.

I followed your steps, but my Pro-Series has that tool hidden. Please, see attached below.

Isn't Download Converted Data the same thing?

If you are using Beta (Early Release), which it looks like you are from your screenshot, its disabled for TY22.
