I chose to have client use 2019 earned income for EIC in 2020. Says IRS will not accept efiling since there is undocumented income..The client had a farm loss of $179.00, Is this the reason we have to mail in, or is there a fix. Efiling worked for client who had Sch C only income in 2019 and used that instead of 2020..Curious

It's still a little murky if there is a fix in the works or if you are stuck with paper filling. Personally, I would hold tight for a little longer.
