E-Filing an Amended 2019 Form 1040

[Ephesians3-14]

Trying to figure out how to e-file my first amended return via ProSeries. I prepared the 1040X and am redy to e-file the return with the IRS only. I don't see a checkbox on the Info Worksheet that would be checked in order to e-file the amended return. This client already filed their own 2019 tax return a few months ago, so I am just filing the amended return.

Am I missing a checkbox on the Info Worksheet - I just don't see it.

You can't Efile amended 1040 returns.   

IRS has announced that sometime later this summer they will be ready for this ability, but that doesnt mean the software will be ready to do it....its going to be at minimum several months before this will even possibly be an option.
