Daily Pet Peeves - 1116B and De Minimis Election

I forget the stupid election every time.  Have to go back.  Why can't there be a button on the Sch C to automatically generate?  And 1116B having to be attached just pisses me off.

It is also the first Monday in April so the clowns will be in a frenzy.

😄It already started. One phone call, two texted, and one stopped. All four clowns. That's the superfecta or grand slam of clowns.🤡🤡🤡🤡⚾️

Add that to my list of pet peeves.  I have an office phone and e-mail, use those.  Texting drives me crazy, especially when some of the clowns know no boundaries and text 24 hours a day.  They have a brain fart and then need to text at that moment to tell you about it.

Thanks for reminding me why I still have a land line.  My mobile phone is for family and friends.  On a few occasions when I have given the number to clients, I have told them they will no longer be clients if they use it after the current need has passed.

I agree, but I'll back up a bit more ... why did the IRS/Treasury make that an affirmative election that you needs to be elected?  I wish they did the opposite, and we had to elect-out if that is what we wanted.
