The ATX link is very useful, but recognize that it is 10 years old and may have some incorrect or outdated numbers.

I really don't understand why PS even requires it if there is no withholding.

I just noticed it’s been seven hours since someone started a thread on the topic on 1099G EINs.  I think that is about 100 new threads on the exact same topic in last few weeks.

I suppose it can’t be posted as a link on the home page because it is going to another company’s website.  But it would be nice if it could be.

Hello!

The number is: 84-0644739

It is frustrating that it doesn't carry over year over year.  I add a note to field and put the TIN there so I don't have to pull the source documents each year.

All the best to you!

@870ELaxxN

1) Stop yelling. It's Sunday morning for Pete's sake

2) The CO number is posted in the thread - which is what the OP asked about a year ago.

3) A link is posted in the thread - in case you aren't really asking for CO's number.

I see they added a couple of digits since I last did a CO return.  Didn't it used to be 8675309?

Earn your fee.

Is the state tax refund taxable?

NO - Delete the nagging 1099

YES - Input an override for taxable state tax refund.  It's gotta be there somewhere!

Ok... then I apologize.

Many, many folks don't have that reason.

@870ELaxxN Something that might help, at least when you post is the additional formatting available

See the ... when you start? Click them

Even before clicking the dots there is B on the left that makes things BOLD and easier to read. Once you click the dots you can go wild

The T allows for big bigger and biggest.

Depending on your browser, you should also be able to enlarge by holding control key, clicking on the screen then rolling the mouse key.

Best of luck
