When checking the "yes" box for electronic funds withdrawal for CA state balance due, the program also requires that "yes" or "no" be checked for, "Direct deposit your client's state tax refund?" It seems odd that an entry is required for direct deposit when there is a balance due.
Ive noticed that too, did they have a fed refund being direct deposited? That might be what triggers it, I haven't paid much attention, I just check the NO box and move on.
