1120S Transfer Issues

In ProSeries Professional 2025, when I transfer an 1120S file from 2024 to 2025, a couple things are happening. 

1) on The S Corporation Information Worksheet in the address section, specifically the "Number and Street" field comes over as blue instead of green. 

2) on 1120S Page 1, Line 20 Other Deductions, I always enter directly to Page 1 and don't use the Other Deductions Worksheet but all of my entry from 2024 Page 1 Line 20 is transferring to the 2025 Other Deduction Worksheet instead of Page 1 directly. 

Are others having the same issue?

Yea, the address is blue, no clue why.  As long as its still correct, I wouldnt worry about it.

Ive seen some issues with the Other Deductions on 8825 on a 1065, but I dont think Ive seen anyone mention the 1120S other deductions, are you saying the numbers aren't flowing correctly or is this just a  cosmetic issue?

Yeah, as long as it doesn't show up in puce, I don't think the color of the letters really matters.  As far as the other issue goes, I always use the worksheet so I can't say that anything has changed.  But even if I didn't use the worksheet, if that is the biggest problem I run into with the software this year, I would consider it a wonderful tax season.

Blue indicates a change so I prefer it be green so I know without confirming that it didn't change from the prior year.  Otherwise, if it's blue, when I review a file that someone else in my office started, I have to confirm the addresss did not actually change.  I have no idea why it would transfer over as blue if it didn't change.  We've been using this product for years on end and I don't recall this ever being a thing.

On the 1120S Line 20 Other deductions, you can enter directly to it on Page 1 or you can use a worksheet that will then feed to Page 1 Line 20.  We always enter directly to Page 1 and don't use the worksheet.  For whatever reason, when I transfer a file to 2025, the prior year descriptions go to the worksheet instead of directly to Page 1.  

I'm curious if others are experiencing the same thing and if a fix is coming.  Let me know, thanks!!

I'm holding off on transferring files until I know where things stand with the product.  While neither item is huge, it adds time to each file for no good reason...I'm trying to save (or not spend) time where possible!

We are having the same issue. I called 4 times and still no correction. The corps and partnerships had no issue, only the S-corps.

Again, are the numbers flowing to where they need to go? 

If the numbers flow and its just a cosmetic, or habitual entry change, its probably not high on their list of things to fix.

I pointed this out 3 weeks ago, but still no solution. Using the Other deduction schedule is not efficient. If the corporations and partnerships brought over the descriptions to page one, why cant the same happen for S-Corporations?????

Thanks for confirming that you're experiencing the same thing.  You are correct, it's not efficient and it's only on S-Corporations (1120S) so hopefully a fix can happen quickly.   Thanks again!
