The child is my dependent and is in entered in the dependent's section on form 1040-SR. The dependent's name should only be entered in the space at the bottom of the filing status section, if the dependent is not listed as my dependent section. Spouse died in 2020, dependent is 13. How can I delete this entry and file electronically?
Rule states: if the child isn't claimed as your dependent in the Dependent's sections of Form 1040 or 1040-SR, enter the child's name in the entry space at the bottom of the Filing Status Section. If you do not enter the name, it will take us longer to process your return,
