quickly entering client payments

is there a way to enter payments without opening each client file?

I was going to ask "what kind of payments" but it doesnt really matter, the answer for entering any kind of payments is "Not without opening the file".

I took it to mean changing the Client Status page from "client billed" to "client paid."  And it would be nice to be able to do that.  Research shows that 85% of my 2019 clients have not paid me.  Either that, or I can't be bothered with opening and closing each file again.
