I have multiples back years of ProSeries installed on a computer that just crashed. What would be the best method for downloading, installing and rolling my settings forward from year to year (control which forms print, print order, etc.) Has anyone had success with this?
Do you have a back up of your data files?
I always start with the oldest year first, then install them up to the current.
Find your most recent Common folder. Copy and paste it into the new PC. It should work on all years.
That's how I copied my Letters (New & Improved!) and the printing conventions for Client Copy and Preparer Copy.
