For the past few days Proseries 2020 has been very slow to open. After sign-in the program just seems to hang there for 5-10 minutes before it can be usable. Looking into the problem, it looks like Proseries is making a read on every single cache file in the 20data directory on startup. We use the network version of Proseries and store the files on a Synology NAS. There are over 2000 client files so there are a lot of cache files. I don't see the need for it to do this since there is already a homebase database it can use. Is there a way to disable it from reading all the cache files on startup?
