Every year I purchase both products and wondering if there is a max amount of 1040's that I can prepare on the Pro Series before I am charged
On the Basic software it is unlimited.
Thank you
It all depends on which package you buy. See link.

Out of curiosity, why are you buying both?
At first glance, it seem like you may have the Unlimited ProSeries Professional (at least for 1040s), so there isn't a need for Basic.
Hopefully youre not purchasing both products, that would be redundant and expensive.
People that buy Basic can download Professional for free and then Pay Per Return for any returns they use Pro for....if you only bought Basic, and you try and file a 1040 with Pro, you'll get a PPR charge just like if you used it for a business return
Professional does have an unlimited 1040/state package, if that's what youre asking.
