Pro Series is not letting me Efile an extension 4868 on the due date of the return (06/15/2021)

Pro Series is not letting me Efile an extension 4868 on the due date of the return (06/15/2021). It is a 1040 return where the individual lives in Texas, whose due date is 06/15/2021. The program is saying I cannot Efile after the 05/17/2021 due date. All other posts on this forum do not answer the question as to why the software will not allow us to file this extension. Any last minute help on this situation?

As many other posts have said, the IRS does not allow e-filing of the extension after the national deadline (May 17th this year).  It needs to be mailed.

I suggest running to the closest P.O. to paper file...
