About 50% of my clients get organizers. The rest get standard letters, not mentioning the organizers, but giving some pertinent information about changes in the tax laws, etc.
I have used ProSeries for over 20 years, and have never had this problem:
How do I edit the general client letter for both of the situations above, and make the letters universal? I pulled up one client, changed the letter, told the program to print the letter, and printed the organizer. However, for the next client I pulled up, no letter printed.
What am I missing here?

Open a client in the organizer homebase.
Select Tools and then select "Letters", then "Print with return setup"
Click Global Print Options
Then select "Control Which Letters Print" and make your selections Standard Client Letter or Custom Client Specific Letters"
That's how it worked for me.
