Not that it really matters, but you know my curiosity sometimes gets the best of me. At one point there were well over 100 plus thumbs up for this post, now there are 75 showing. Is there a thumb stealer lurking out there? Is someone building another Frankenstein and they need extra thumbs in case some of them start falling off due to poor quality control procedures?
@IRonMaN I believe that is a technical procedure that happens when a thread goes beyond one page. I noticed this before on another thread that was multiple pages. I think it's just something that happens automatically, a technical procedure.
Yeah, evidently the thumb scorer is only capable of handling one page at a time so it just keeps track of the equivalent of the last "page" of posts and starts dropping off older posts in FIFO order.
I would have guessed 'my' posts were the ones losing the votes (since I'm sure I have the most on this thread and wouldn't have been surprised if some were deleted by the PTB) but my overall total for the week is the same. This is good; I can buy a lot more lumps of coal for certain folks.

I've noticed the getting to page 2 etc on long threads "sometimes" doesn't work & has been an issue for a while. Progress?
Page 2, etc is the earliest posts, not the current posts. At least the way I have mine set up to sort.
So yes, I can see your post - often I can't get to the original post if the thread is long.
YMMV
expect US to handle the vast majority of the questions, maybe they need to reconsider their dictatorial actions.
Do you feel that it is really an expectation on their part?
@Strongsilence-CPA Yes.
Numerous posters here say that Support told them to come here.
And, when we point out we are volunteers, fellow software users without any powers to 'fix' issues we get push back.
"They" told me to post my question/problem/issue here !
IRonMaN,
