Pay Per Return credit from last year

I had a credit balance in my pay per return account for my 2023 taxes.  It is not showing up in my 2024 ProSeries for me to use it.  Where did it go?

I don't think they carry over from year to year.

You use them or lose them.  Intuit will not carry them over.  In the future be careful what you pay for because you won't see a dime back if you pay for too many returns in advance.

It is stuck in 2023.  As Jim said, it does not transfer.  Yet another way that Intuit tries to rip off their customers.

If you call customer support, sometimes you may find a person willing to manually move the credit.  But I seem to remember they were getting more strict about that, so I'm not sure if it will work.

When I first started using PS (over 20 years) I was in pay per return, and even back then you had to be careful adding funds as they did not carry over. As Bill pointed out you should call and try to get them to carryover (that did work for my 2d year) not sure it will work now as, lately Intuit has been all about profits
