Taxpayer in Pa deceased in 2024. Have to file separate returns with spouse. How do I print spouse return? Only prints main taxpayer.

I haven't had to do this for years, and I thought Intuit fixed this, but maybe not.

Since TP was the one who died, you MUST split the returns MFJ(see File Menu) and keep only the Spouse's split return. Then save it and complete PA where she will be the TP.

You can clear the federal errors, but do not file it. Remove e-file federal checkbox and use only the state e-file check box. Save it.

Then you will have the MFJ federal file with TP(the decedent) in PA only MFS, and a separate file for Spouse PA only.
