50/50 owner occupied rental property. Should it be 50% of interest etc. entered on the 1098 (irrespective of amounts) and the remaining 50% on the schedule E?

Thanks. So if 1098 amount is $100 for mortgage interest, you just put $50 on sched A and $50 on sched E?
