New to group - found that Proseries NYS uses the federal gross income WHICH DOESN'T include contributions of $300 and then adds the $300 on top of via IT-558. Am I missing something

I don't do NY returns, but someone posted awhile back about that issue.  Sounds like it hasn't been fixed yet.

individual - check gross/ adj gross federal return and then look at IT 201 when there is IT558
